He became Superintendent at Sabin Schools near Traverse City and eventually moved to Grand Rapids taking a position as the Assistant Superintendent in charge of business at Northview Public Schools. While at Northview, he received his Education Specialist degree. The last 19 years of his career were spent at Kent Intermediate School District as Associate Superintendent. During that time, he worked as a lobbyist in Washington D.C. for 21 school districts and proudly achieved a Ph.D. in school administration from Michigan State University. I didn't know my Uncle Jack that well but I do know he cherished his family. He took all his siblings out every year to a dinner in Traverse City. I'm so glad he was able to do that one last time before he left this earth. Rest in peace Uncle Jack.💕💞
