I have known Janet for 15 years. I met Tony and Deb and then from being over for a holiday get together got to meet the rest of the family. Janet and I would cook and take each other stuff. She was a great cook. When Artie passed and she moved in with Tamny, I really missed her being next door. I loved her very much and she will be very missed...

My heart is broken! Jan and I worked together for many years. She was a best friend, loving and caring, always there for me through so many trials and heartaches (hers and mine)! She had a heart of gold and so much love for each and every friend and family member! She was a one of the nicest people I have ever known. You will always be in my heart Jan❤️. Bev

Jan was a beautiful soul and I am so glad that I have had the privilege to call her a friend. I will be forever grateful that she was Heather's beautiful and loving "Florida Mom." Jan will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Dear Family,

I am so very sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We go way back, having worked together in the insurance agency. Jan always had a joyful spirit which was wonderful to be around. She always made me laugh!

Thinking of you all at this terribly difficult time.

Dear Tammy,

I know that nothing anyone can say will take away the pain of your loss, Mother and best friend. I was so sorry to learn that
Jan had passed away. I know that your heart is heavy now, but I'm glad that you had the opportunity to be with her and to let her feel your love before she passed. Though she will be greatly missed, you will always have a special place in your heart for her, a place that only a mother and daughter/best friend can share.

God bless her and keep her close.

Love, Dolores and Pat Callea

I am very sad, besides being my sister-in-law for many years we were friends since childhood. We went all through elementary school together . We always made each other laugh. Janet is a great Lady, Heaven definitely gained an angel.

My dearest auntie
You have always been such an important person in my life. How do you say goodbye to someone who has always meant so much to you? Can memories I have will last me a lifetime. Our family suffered a great loss on June 6th but we were so blessed that we had you in our lives. I will never forget all the good times and my oh my all the laughs. You were quite the character! You were always full of so much compassion for other people and yet you always made us laugh. You are the best auntie ever and I will miss you tremendously. You will live forever in all our hearts. I love you Auntie. I know you're dancing with those angels and having a blast. I won't say goodbye I will say see you later my sweet angel. Always remembered never forgotten.

Forever loved by your niece
Cheryl

Since the moment I arrived on Jan's doorstep in October of 2004 she opened her home and her world to me unconditionally. Jan showed me what true hospitality is all about. She made meals on a Wednesday that I thought were only possible on holidays like Thanksgiving! For Jan a homecooked meal that brought her loved ones around the dinner table was her very own every day way of showing her thanks for those she loved. I thank her for being an intricate part of helping me out of a really dark place in my own life and consistently standing by my side in creating a new life full of family and forgiveness and fabulous food! Always reminding me that there is no shame in voicing my opinion even in a fierce manner. I am and always will be a stronger more resilient woman because of my Jannie Poo!

I grew up at Jan's house in Boonton, NJ. Tammy and I were always together as best friends usually are. My favorite memory is spending Christmas Eve and Christmas at their house. Jan always treated me like her own and her jokes and quick wit were a constant. Almost 30 years later, now both of us living in Florida, on opposite coasts, I was fortunate to see this beautiful woman again. I cherish the memories I have of a woman I called mom. I love you and will miss you always!
