Janet Clare Downing Wyres

Janet Clare Wyres, 64 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011, surrounded by her children. She was born on October 26, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to Lester and Gertrude Wilinski Wallace Downing. On December 12, 1987, she married Stephen E. Wyres, Sr. Jan and her husband moved to Florida in 2000, where she will be remembered for her numerous acts of kindness and volunteering her time to many charitable organizations. She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. Jan enjoyed traveling, especially cruising. She was a member of the Southwest Florida Symphony, the Cape Coral Friends of the Library and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Jan is survived by her loving family including her son, Stephen (Stefanie) Wyres, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Tiffany Esposito (Todd Stephens) of Newberry, FL; five GRAND daughters, Caycee, Kyndell, Angella, Sydney and Sophie. In addition to her parents and sister, Judith A. Snyder, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen on July 19, 2008.

The Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 3rd at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral.
