

Jeremiah "Jere" Crosby, 42, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2025, in Georgia. Born in Dover, New Hampshire, on November 19, 1982, Jere lived a life filled with dedication, adventure, and deep love for his family.
A proud member of the United States Army since 2008, Jere served his country with honor, embodying the values of commitment and service in every aspect of his life. Beyond his military career, he found joy in the simple pleasures—long days at the beach, camping under the stars, and the electric energy of a Phish concert. He was an avid sports fan, cheering passionately for the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles. But above all, Jere's greatest pride and joy was his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, April Lafferman; two beautiful daughters, Madelyn and Scarlett; his parents, Michael Crosby and Christina Marley; one sister, Jessica Fish; brother, David Crosby and his wife, Katherine; mother-in-law, Michele Fielder and her husband, Don; father-in-law, Michael Lafferman and his wife, Bonnie; brother-in-law, DJ Fielder; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Friday, May 30, 2025 at Crosspoint CHurch, 204 SW 11th Place, Cape Coral, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:30 PM at Crosspoint Church, Cape Coral, FL honoring the remarkable man he was and the legacy he leaves behind. Immediately following the service Jere will be buried at Coral Ridge Cemetery in the Garden of Honor II.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind cherished family and friends who will forever treasure the moments spent with him.
