Dearest Dad,
It has taken me this long to be able to sit down and write some memories of you. My heart aches every day because I miss you so much. I still feel in shock that you are gone. I still go to pick up the phone to call you and remember I can't. I have a hugh void in my life without you. I hope I did right by you the last days of your life--I wanted you to be comfortable. You were the best dad in the world. You never judged me, you always supported me and you made me laugh my whole life. You were always there for your whole family, so kind, gentle and giving. Everybody loved you dad. I will miss you every day of my life. Until we see each other again.
Love Penny

Jerry, I believe that you lived your life the way God Intended. You and your beautiful Patricia, who were married for over 60 years, still respected and loved each other deeply. Together you raised the most amazing daughters. They Blessed you both with your amazing Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. This wonderful group of people that are your Family, have been faced with Many Challenges in their lives, and have managed to Love and Support Each Other. Now, while they are Grieving your Loss, they continue to provide their love and support for one another, and Patricia. They learned about how to live and love from you.

The last time I saw you, was in the Hospital and you were going down for a test. As you were being wheeled away, you reached out your hand and touched mine and said "Bye Jo". Well "Good Bye, Jerry". I will love you forever.

There are in the end three things that last: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Though your heart must hold deep sadness right now, may it also hold the blessings of the love that will always be a part of you… Praying that God will comfort your heart, uplift your spirit, and carry you through this time of sadness.
