Jessie relocated to Florida and enjoyed a long retirement. During this time she traveled extensively, spent time with family, enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo and going to the Casinos. She also loved playing Spades, Rummy and other card games with her family on the weekends. Jessie’s famous words were “ I retired so I can play” and she did. She tried her hands at fishing but had better luck at cooking it. Jessie never learned to drive but she was a great back seat driver. She made it a point to teach her children, nieces and nephews how to play Scrabble before they attended school. She was also interested in politics, world affairs, crime shows and educational programs. At 93 she was still using her desktop computer and Kindle everyday. She was well rounded and was at times called our “walking encyclopedia “
