Jo Ella Davis

Jo Ella passed away peacefully with her family lovingly by her side. She loved her Lord and her family very much. Her biggest joy in life was cooking and sewing for the ones she loved. Consider yourself blessed if you had her Chicken N Dumplings! Throughout the past 35 years she managed to make all 16 of her grandchildren baby quilts when they were born. Before retiring, she was the Manager at Perkins Restaurant and was known to all there as “Grandma Jo”. She also had two cats Lucy and Charlie that adored her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Lilian Black and two sisters Lark and Wesley.

She was survived by four children, Jennifer Bergau, Susan Dunn, Chris Woods and John Brewer, followed by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren and two sisters, Julia Perdue and Susan Moore.

There is no service planned, her wish was to have a small celebration of life with close family members. Please know that all your thoughts are appreciated.
