JoAnn Louise Walilko

JoAnn is survived by her husband, Wayne Davis, her son, Matthew Walilko (Melissa), and the father of her child, Christian Walilko. She is preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Leonardis (Mordas) and her father, Louis Leonardis.

JoAnn was born on April 18th, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey, to parents Josephine and Louis Leonardis. She moved to Oak Ridge, New Jersey and built a successful sporting goods business, The Outdoorsman Marine and Sports Center, which she owned and operated for more than 20 years.

JoAnn was a strong woman and a loving mother. She met Wayne Davis in New Jersey and the two had been together for over 20 years.

JoAnn was an intelligent, caring, and active woman who remained diligent and hard working. She enjoyed animals, spending time with her family, telling humorous stories, and laughing. Her family and friends will always remember her as a fearless wife, mother, and friend who was never afraid to speak her mind, strove for excellence just as much as she expected it, and who was as protective as she was loving.
