John Charles Colonnello

John Charles Colonnello, 91 of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Cape Coral, FL passed away on April 15, 2018. He was born on December 21, 1926 in New York, NY to John and Theresa Radici Colonnello. He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army as a Rifleman. Mr. Colonnello retired from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). He moved to Cape Coral in 1981 from Stony Brook, NY.

He is survived by his loving family including his daughters, Diane T. Colonnello, Barbara A.C. Potts (Joseph M.) , Karen A. Colonnello (James); treasured grandchildren, Alexa, John Blake, Sean, Amber, and Alex; the last of his generation - his twin sister, Gloria Fox; nieces, Carol Pillsbury (Shawn), Janie Fox, Joannie O'Connell (Jim), and Lorraine Smith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan (nee: Curtin) Colonnello.
