Born November 4th in Mineola, NY, Jack was a great family man and a loving father. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, singing in the surrounding nursing homes and playing both the bass and guitar in church. Volunteering at the church, working with the youth, boating, and fishing, Jack will forever be remembered as loving, forgiving, passionate, patient, kind, nonjudgmental, a rock, and grounded in his faith.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (Augenstein) Hill of one blessed, love filled year;
dear sisters Joan Arsenault (Francis “Chick”) and Barbara Doolin (Ernest “Ernie”);
loving children Lori West (Rob), Chris Eckie, Sabrina McGuire-Byrne (Anthony), Shane Eckie, Shawn Eckie and Audrey Eckie.
cherished grandchildren Janine, James, Jeffery, Jessica, Autumn, Andrew, Brandon, Anthony, Brianne, Kayla, Michael, Trevor, and David
Jack was preceded in death by his father John T. Hill Sr, his mother Loretta (Schorer) Hill, and his grandchildren: Carissa and Caleb.
