John A. Wright

John Wright, 72 of Cape Coral, FL was finally reunited with the love of his life, Jacque on October 15th, 2021; he spent many years looking forward to the day they could be together again. John was born to the late Charles and Mary Wright in Newark, New Jersey in 1949. He met his loving wife through their mutual passion of roller-skating. They moved to Florida pursuing careers in sales, newspaper and magazine publishing, and ceramics, before ultimately settling into the glass business. Eventually John worked side by side with his son, where he worked until he no longer could.

John loved traveling, especially cruising. He loved casinos and all things Disney, but what he loved most was sharing it with his family. He loved to commemorate special occasions with big family dinners where you could always count on his humor and animated family stories to get everyone laughing.

John is survived by his children Jeffery Wright (Wendy), Mandy Greves (Gary) and Patrick Rahilly (Laura) all of Cape Coral, Florida; he also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, Kristen, Candace, Ryan, Melyssa, Dave, Danielle, Gil, Victoria, Little Mike, Tara, Thomas, Rob, Jess, Michelle, Noel, Alex and Heidi and several great-grandchildren to forever cherish his memory.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jacquelyn Wright; his son Michael Rahilly (Lori), his son Thomas Rahilly, his daughter Wendy Bernokeits and his daughter Robin Schilling; his parents Charles and Mary Wright; and his granddaughter Heather.

A visitation for John will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Ted Althouse at 12:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL. After the funeral service there will be a committal service in the cemetery.
