Jorge Luis Artiles of Cape Coral, Florida, better known simply as "George" to his family and friends, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 6, 2026 with his loving family by his side while receiving Hospice care at the conclusion of a courageous health battle. He was 62 years old.
George was born in Cuba on August 29, 1963, the proud son to Ana (Alvarez-Monteagudo) and Ramon Artiles.
He was the loving husband to Miriam (Rengifo) and the devoted father to Andrew Artiles (Elizzabeth) and Angela Artiles.
A Funeral Service for George will be officiated by Celebrant Glenn Pomerantz at 2:00 PM on August 15, 2026 inside the Remembrance Events Center at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, FL 33991, (239) 283-0540. Friends are invited to gather for two hours in advance of this ceremony, beginning at 12 Noon, for a time of hospitality with refreshments served. This time offers George's extended family and friends the chance to share condolences, stories and remembrances about George.
