Joseph George Petrullo

Joe had a career as a computer systems analyst and programmer for more than 50 years. Joe served in the US Army and was stationed at Ft Devins, Mass and Long Island, NY, where he was in the honor guard. He was a member of the Bloomingale Youth Organization (BYO) in Bloomingdale, N.J, coaching football, and a member of their board, helping to create a weekly bingo as their fundraiser. Joe had a passion for playing Tuesday night poker with his clubhouse pals and for the New York Giants football team. He was proud to say he attended the 1987 Super Bowl XXI in Pasadena, California. He was also a member of the Jack Daniels Tennessee Squires and in his spare time he enjoyed relaxing by his pool doing crossword puzzles. He is survived by his (wife) Molly, (son & daughter-in-law) Chris and Lisa of Cape Coral, Fla. (grandchildren) Ashley and Chris Rosso, Christopher and Brandon Petrullo of Cape Coral, Fla and (great-granddaughter) Brielle Rosso of Cape Coral. He is also survived by his (brother & sister-in-law) Ronald and Maryann Petrullo of Cape Coral, Fla as well as many nieces and nephews from New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida.

A committal service for Joseph will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
