Joseph Reda

Joe was born on April 9, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY.

After a long and hard fought battle with cancer, it's with great sadness that we share with you that we finally said goodbye to a great Man, loyal Husband, loving Father, caring Brother, beloved Grandfather, fun-loving Great Grandfather, generous Friend and an incredible Barber.

Joe is survived by his beautiful wife; Clara; his 7 children; Joanne, Donna, Marie, Laura, Lisa, Theresa and Joe; his 18 grandchildren; Jennifer, Jaclyn, Graceanne, Danny, RJ, Michael, Carly, Lenny, Ryan, Jimmy, Tommy, Jesse, Jayson, Breanna, Joseph, Claire, Angus and Dustin; and his 2 great grandchildren; Kaylee and Gianna.

Joe was a generous, witty and dedicated individual who loved people and who was passionate about helping others. He was an active and dedicated member of the Heron’s Glen Community where he was the barber for well over 300 customers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to please consider making a tax deductible donation in Joe’s honor to the scholarship fund he established several years ago to help graduating seniors in the Fort Myers area entering the ROTC program.
