Fascinated with culture, customs, the meaning of humanity, and our place in the world led him to obtaining a Bachelor’s in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and then fulfilling a lifelong dream of participating in an archaeological dig in Peru. A poet, musician, and budding comedian, Josh could be found in local comedy hotspots sharing his hilarious and witty reflections on the human condition. If not writing, playing guitars, or enjoying a concert, Josh could be found working as Asset Coordinator of Facilities for Lee County, which he’s proudly done for the past three years.
Josh is survived by his parents, older brother, paternal grandmother and numerous cousins. The family has chosen to hold a private service. His light and life will be greatly missed.
