Katarzyna Hill

Katarzyna “Kathy” Hill entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 27, 2026, at the age of 50, after a courageous battle with cancer. Though cancer marked the final years of her earthly life, it never defined the woman she was. Her life was shaped by her unwavering faith in Christ, her steadfast love for her family, and her quiet devotion to serving others.

Kathy was born on October 27, 1975, in Kalisz, Poland, to Jacek and Danuta Mazur. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and faithfully served her community as a pharmacist for many years. Patients knew her for her compassion, coworkers admired her integrity, and friends treasured her gentle spirit and sincere kindness.

Above every accomplishment, Kathy treasured her calling as a wife and mother. She was the beloved wife of Shane Hill, with whom she shared a marriage rooted in deep friendship, unwavering commitment, and enduring love. Together they were raising their daughters—Grace, Faith, and Sarah—who were the joy of her life. She invested herself wholeheartedly in her family, believing that the greatest treasures in life were found not in worldly success but in faithfulness, love, and time spent with those God had entrusted to her. Her legacy will be her strength found in Christ and her never-ending positive outlook.

Kathy held a rare gift for encouraging others. Whether speaking with a stranger or comforting a friend, she had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her life reflected humility, generosity, and quiet strength. Even through suffering, she remained more concerned with pointing others toward the hope found in Jesus Christ than toward herself.

Her battle with cancer revealed the depth of her character. She faced each challenge with remarkable courage, grace, and perseverance. While she prayed for healing, she ultimately rested in the promises of God, confident that her future was secure in Christ.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Shane Hill; her cherished daughters, Grace, Faith, and Sarah; her loving parents, Jacek and Danuta Mazur; and many dear family members, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ whose lives were forever changed by knowing her.

Though deeply missed, Kathy leaves behind a legacy anchored in her love for the Lord and His Word. Her faith shaped every part of her life, and it will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Grace Bible Church of Brandon, 1010 E. Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, FL 33511.
