Kathleen Lucille Baker

Kathleen Lucille Baker of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, May 1, 2026 following some recent health challenges. She was born on February 19, 1933 in Martins Ferry, Ohio and was 93 years old at the time of her passing.

Loving daughter of the late Edward and Edna Delaney, Dear sister of the late Madeline Marroney, Robert (Puzz and Jean), Russell (Ethel) and Donald (Mary) . Treasured Aunt to many nieces and Nephews that so adored her. Though she endured unimaginable loss and profound heartbreak with losing both of her adult children, son Thomas Russell Baker Jr. (Gini) and Daughter Brenda Jo Byers (Billy) and her beloved husband of 67 years, she continued to meet life with remarkable strength, offering love, kindness, and encouragement to everyone around her. Her quiet grace, warmth and compassion will continue through all those that love her so much.

She is survived by grandchildren Tiffany (Bryan), Crystal (Robert), Melissa, Meghan (David), Ashley (Jake), Shawna (Gary), David, Bryan, and Taylor, and more than 20 wonderful great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for Kathleen will be conducted from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 7, 2026 inside the Remembrance Events Center at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, Florida 33991, (239) 283-0540. Immediately following at 11:00 AM, a Funeral Service will be Officiated by Celebrant Dennis Antoniello also inside the Funeral Home Chapel. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, friends and family will recess to adjacent Coral Ridge Memorial Park where Kathleen will be laid to rest inside the Garden of the Good Shepherd alongside her dearly departed husband Thomas R. Baker Sr. who passed away in 2023. A Reception and Celebration of Kathleen's life will follow her burial and will also be hosted inside the funeral home.
