He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 23, 1938 and was the oldest of 13 children. He graduated from Berea High School and served in the United States Air Force.

Ken moved to Cape Coral in 1976 to raise his family. He was very involved in youth football and booster clubs. He spent time as a church deacon and enjoyed helping and counseling others in need. He was a lifelong avid fisherman. Those who had the pleasure of his company would tell you he was well-known for his sense of humor. Any conversation would end up with, “That reminds me of a joke…”

Ken is survived by his wife Barbara Neatherlin Fenske; children Andrew Fenske (Jessica), Brian Fenske (Dianne), Tonya Smith (Rob), Sherry Ciccone (Chris), Erik Neatherlin (Emily Teachout) and Brent Neatherlin (Mihn Truong); grandchildren Dustin Mishka, Drew Fenske, Tyler Smith (Rebekah), Cassidy Fenske, Brooke Lynn Ciccone, Michael Ciccone, Patrick Norris, Darian Barnett, Robbie Smith (Lindsay), Maggie Neatherlin, Ruby Neatherlin, MarryAnne Berry, Breanna Berry, Ashantay Truong and Serenity Truong; great-grandchildren Mackenzie & Emma Smith; siblings Richard (Cheryl), Andrea Tolton (Rex), Stephen (Linda), Keith (Lucy), Dennis (Dolores), Mark (Elizabeth), Michael (Teresa), Christopher (Denise) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ken was a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, loyal brother, kind uncle, generous friend and the Best Papa ever. He embodied unconditional love and we are so blessed to be part of his journey. Ken will be missed and loved by all of his extended family and numerous friends.

When I was a freshman in high school I attended Notre Dame academy because I thought that I wanted to become a nun. Ken was the only one who came to visit me. I remembersitting in the garden area and talking about my decision. I will never forget that. Rest in peace Ken.

Please know that I am sending you all love and prayers at this time. I have fond memories of Uncle Tony's smile and silly jokes. He was such a character! I am so sorry that we can not be there with you all to celebrate his life.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of all of you and sending love and prayers. I enjoyed visiting with him and all of you last year. We will not make it to the funeral because of the hurricane in Louisiana but hope to visit soon.
Much Love,
