

Linda Hilda Wiedemann, (nee Fritsch), 79, died June 18, 2013 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born January 23, 1934 in Wilhelmshaven, Germany to Alfred and Wilhelmina (nee Rodewald) Fritsch. Linda married Wolfgang Paul Wiedemann on May 22, 1952 in Wilhelmshaven, W. Germany. Linda and her husband immigrated to Canada, and a few years later immigrated to Racine, Wisconsin. In 1980, they moved to Cape Coral where they started the European Craftsman Painting and Decorating Company. She was an accomplished Artist, who loved painting in acrylics and oils. She also loved to do German crossword puzzles which she did in pen. She made the best German food this side of the Atlantic. She was preceded in death by Wolfgang, her husband of 40 years and her son Ralph.
She is survived by her son Guenter W. (Sandy) Wiedemann and their children, Abby (Katlin) Miller and Brent of Wisconsin; her daughters Helga E. (Ted) Thibodeaux of Florida, and Angela V. (Edward) Teleweck and their children Paul and Nicholas of Florida.
Linda’s humor and common sense and sometime no nonsense attitude will be strongly missed by her children and their spouses, and grandchildren.
Her life will be celebrated at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Vineyard Community Church, Cape Coral, Florida. The interment will be private. Arrangements are by Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery.
