Lois Maxine Hatton, of Cape Coral, Florida formerly of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. She was born on August 5, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to John Henry McFarland and Delia (nee: Warner) McFarland. She worked for General Dynamics in the Army Tank Production department. She moved to North Fort Myers in 1987 from Warren, Michigan. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie # 2495 of East Detroit, MI and the Women of The Moose, Dearborn, MI. She enjoyed Bingo, Bowling and Reading and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving family including her five children, Kathleen Essad, Susan Esposito, Theresa Hatton, Debbie Yasbeck, Robert Hatton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Jimmy, and daughter Sharyn Dooley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, October 21st at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 22nd at the funeral home, with visitation to begin at 10am. Burial will follow the services at Coral Ridge Cemetery. The family suggests donations in her memory be made to Hope Hospice, Cape Coral.
