Louise Olive Powers

Louise Olive Powers, 100, of North Fort Myers, FL formerly of Matlacha, FL passed away at home on March 13, 2014. She was born on November 27, 1913 in Two Harbors, Minnesota to Edwin and Olive Cunningham Sarrach. She worked for United Telephone Systems of Florida as a Draftsman. Mrs. Power attended Messiah Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and American Legion.

Mrs. Powers is survived by her loving family including her daughters, Geraldine (Paul) Holcombe, Diane (Buddy) Malcomb; sons, George (Alda) Letcher, Mark (Shirley) Letcher, Donald (Jan) Letcher; sister, Fyrnn Babbe; 35 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Cliff in 1978.

Visitation will be at Coral Ridge Funeral Home on Monday from 12:30 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rusty May, officiating. Burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome.com to leave thoughts and memories for her family.
