With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Madeline Incardona on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Incardona; her children, Margaret and Daniel; and her siblings, Joseph, George, Mary Jane, Samuel, and Rose.
Madeline is survived by her son, Joseph Nunzio Incardona, and his children, Samantha, Christine, Josh, and Jacob; her daughter, Rose Eyster, and her children, Joseph, Laura, Stephen, and Sarah; and her son, David, and his wife, Cindy, along with their children, Andrew, Alyssa, Melanie, Ethan, Luke, Conner, and Ezra. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Austin, Stella, and Ryleigh, who brought her endless joy.
Madeline was the heart of her family, the kind of grandmother who never let you leave her home hungry. Her kitchen was always open, filled with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals, the warmth of shared stories, and the laughter of loved ones. Whether it was a simple snack or a feast, she made sure you were nourished—not just with food but with love, kindness, and unwavering care.
Alongside her husband, Madeline owned and operated LaFaun’s Pet Center in Cape Coral, Florida, where she supported his love of animals and helped build a place that became a staple in the community. She also served as a crossing guard for the city of Cape Coral for over 30 years, ensuring generations of children arrived safely at school. Her dedication to her work and community never wavered, and she only retired in 2023.
Madeline’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and selflessness. She was the kind of woman who made everyone feel at home, who listened with an open heart, and who never stopped caring for the people she loved. Her absence leaves an unfillable space, but her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
A service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held at 10:30am on February 10th at St. Andrew Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her honor.
