My husband and I met Gene and Rosalie 20 years ago through mutual friends. Gene always had a smile and had a way of making people feel special.
One of my fondest memories is of Gene holding an umbrella, standing in water up to his calves while waiting for my car to be pulled from a huge puddle; his gentle encouragement kept me calm through the 2 hour ordeal.
Genes quiet strength and gentle nature will be missed.
Rest in peace with the angels Gene
