Marge Kay, 75, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Sunday, August 14th at Cape Coral Hope Hospice.
Marge was born March 14,1947 in Holyoke, MA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Hazel Ericksberg.
Marge graduated from SUNY Binghamton and after spending over 40 years of her working years in the Binghamton, NY area, as a CPA and Auditor for the US Defense Department, Marge and her husband and best friend of 44 years, Gary Kay, retired to Cape Coral.
Marge is survived by her husband Gary, her favorite child, Beth Molyneaux and her husband (Steve Madger); two grandchildren, Samantha LeMaster (Mark) and Braeden Molyneaux (Harpursville) as well as one great-granddaughter, Serenity Douglas. Her kitty Jake, whom she loved dearly, was always at her side. Marge’s siblings include - Barbara Cooley (Ralph), David Ericksberg, and Richard Ericksberg (Gigi).
Marge spent many summer vacations in the Thousand Islands, Gary’s “hometown” with family and friends. She was an avid Atlanta Brave’s fan, loved playing softball, reading (especially the Binghamton Press and Sun Bulletin and the Ft. Myers News Press), and bird watching.
