Originally from Venezuela, Rosemary was a woman of deep faith and a cherished member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church community in Cape Coral, Florida. She lived life with a full heart and an adventurous spirit, always ready for the next journey.
Rosemary was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Enrique Daboin, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, raising three beautiful children and later celebrating the joy of three cherished grandchildren.
A proud graduate of the University of Carabobo, Rosemary earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and went on to have a successful career as an Executive Manager in Venezuela. She carried her intelligence, dedication, and leadership into every aspect of her life.
Rosemary is survived by her three children, Cesar E. Daboin, Carlos E. Daboin, and Catherine Daboin; her daughters-in-law Daniela Daboin and Consuelo Daboin; and her son-in-law Cesar Marquezado. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Heinz D. Ledecky, Sofia M. Ledecky, and Angelica M. Daboin, who brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings Mauro Fernandez, Audio Fernandez, Maria Elvira Fernandez de Caraballo, Jesus Fernandez, Maria Margarita Fernandez de Rodriguez, Yalvis Maria Fernandez de Montilla, and Luis Fernandez.
To her grandchildren and many others who lovingly adopted the name, she was simply “Abui.” She was truly one of the most beautiful souls in the world. Abui had a gift for making everyone feel like the most loved person in the room. Her home was always open, filled with vibrant gatherings, music, delicious food, and the warmth of family and friends. With her contagious smile and playful sense of humor, she brought laughter and joy wherever she went. She was, without question, the life of the party.
Rosemary lived a life defined by kindness, joy, and deep devotion to her family. She had a remarkable way of making those around her feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. Through her laughter, care, and unwavering support, she left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her - especially her beloved children Cesar, Carlos, and Cathy.
Her love for travel took her across the globe. In her younger years she journeyed as far as Japan, and she later spent many cherished years visiting Puerto Píritu, Venezuela, with her husband Enrique and their children Cathy, Carlos, and Cesar. Later in life, she shared that same sense of adventure with her grandchildren Heinz and Sofia as they explored Europe together.
At home, Rosemary was the heart of the family. She was famous for making the best and biggest arepas and her unforgettable signature flan. But more than anything, she loved simply being surrounded by the people she loved most. There was nothing she enjoyed more than a lively gathering with friends, shared stories, and a glass of ice-cold champagne.
Rosemary’s warmth, generosity, and zest for life will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely and in the family and friends whose lives she touched forever.
