"Monica Yvonne Lewis, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 15, 1944 in St Catherine, Jamaica, Monica lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for God, family and friends.
She was known most for her beautiful smile, loving nature, faithful walk with Christ, and culinary skills. Monica was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She found joy in family, music, spreading the love of God, playing Ludi, and keeping in contact with loved ones near and far. Though deeply missed, Monica's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her."
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S., Cape Coral, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12 noon inside the funeral home. Burial will follow out in the garden of Island Estates in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
