She is survived by her husband, Byeong Suk; her son and daughter-in-law: Abraham and Victoria Jun; and her daughter, Julia. Myung was born on February 28, 1970 in Seoul, South Korea.
In 1992, she immigrated to Queens, NY with her husband Byeong, where she worked hard to establish a wonderful life for her family. Myung was a hardworking and lovingly fierce mother. She was a God-fearing woman who leaned into her faith and entrusted her life to Jesus. She was resilient and known for her generosity and passionate spirit. Myung was an outstanding cook, spending long hours to make delicious meals for her family and her church. She demonstrated strength and toughness throughout her whole life. She made sure that her loved ones felt loved, were cared for, and fed. Her life brought many smiles into the world and it’ll be impossible to forget “umma.” May you rest in peace, until we meet again in heaven.
Funeral services for Myung will be held on Saturday, January 30. A limited gathering will take place between 10:00-11:00am, adhering to face coverings, social distancing and non-contact at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery. A Christian memorial service will also be held at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery at 11:00am, which can also be viewed online through the Livestream link.
