Norman B Widmer

His Celebration of Life has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on October 10, 2023 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hafer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Cape Coral Wildlife Trust or Fishers of Men Lutheran Church.

Norman was born 12/28/1934 in Noble, Iowa, the son of Edward G. and Edna (Boshart) Widmer. He graduated from Wayland High School and served in the US Army. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for over 35 years before retiring to Cape Coral.

He was married to Mary on 7/18/1992. He enjoyed gardening, fixing things, telling quirky stories, having a wry sense of humor, and watching the stock market.

He was the last survivor of his 9 siblings . Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary, his three daughters - Kimberley Bond, Kelley West and Kori Widmer - and two step sons - Todd Morey and Thomas Fraser - and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
