

Patricia Chamberlin, age 79, of Fort Myers, Florida. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of Patricia’s beautiful spirit, she entered eternal life surrounded by loved ones Friday November 29th, 2024, after an extensive battle with kidney cancer. Born October 9th, 1945, at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of late Peter F. Hart (1972), and late Helen Yarmosh Hart (1990), of Long Island, NY. Reunited in heaven, she was preceded in death by her loving son William E. P. Chamberlin (2013), of Fort Myers, FL; her ex-husband William A. Chamberlin (2007), of Orlando, FL; her brother Peter F. Hart III (2008); and her half-brother Charlie Hart (2003). Patricia had a passionate and loving energy for her family; she will be greatly missed and is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Abigail and James Henson, of Cape Coral, FL. She was an honored Nana, affectionately remembered by her granddaughter Alexandria A. Henson, and her grandson Aiden J. Henson, both of Gainesville, FL. Her fighting spirit will be forever be admired by her sister and brother-in-law Michele and
Thomas Glembocki, of Port Charlotte, FL; her brother Thomas D. Hart, of Athol, MA; her half-sister Virginia Leppala, and family, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; and her sister-in-law Eva Hart, and family, of Hallandale Beach, FL. Patricia’s instinctively maternal and nurturing personality will be warmly remembered by her many nieces and nephews; Shana Davis Ralls, of Milwaukie, OR; Vanessa Hart and son Marcellus, of Derry, NH; Jacqueline Hart and son Elias, of Nashua, NH; Brianna Hart, of Beaverton, OR; Thomas Glembocki, of Port Charlotte, FL; Paul Glembocki, of Cape Coral, FL; Heather Ritchey, and family, of AZ; Carl and Stacey Jacobson, and family, of Sarasota, FL; Lynn Jacobson of Jacksonville, FL; plus grandnephews, grandnieces; great grandnephews; great grand-nieces; many cousins, including Janie and Cathy; and mostly missed by her adoring cat Princess. Understanding, loyal, and ever faithful to God, Patricia leaves us the blessing of many loving memories and cherished moments that will always be in our hearts. Known for her maternal warmth, enthusiasm, and radiant energy, Patricia was a comforting, faith-driven, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Patti’s spirit shined radiantly; she lived an accomplished life. Heartfelt and sensitive, she praised God for the opportunity of salvation; she fiercely loved her family; she was a lifelong animal welfare advocate; and she contributed to the establishment of early American Disability Act rights while caring for her disabled mother for a decade. She was a Business Major who graduated with a love of theater and sports from Freeport High school in 1964. She broke early glass ceilings working for IBM in Manhattan, NY, the Long Island Railroad, and had successful careers in banking, travel, an entrepreneur, and as a caring homemaker. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, graveside funeral services will be provided by Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church during an interment memorial at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, in Cape Coral, FL. We find comfort knowing she is at peace eternally reunited with her faithful son, William. Patricia will forever be remembered, and forever missed.
