Peter J. Schubert, 76, of Cape Coral passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Health Park Hospital. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Carl and Anita Schubert and moved to Cape Coral in 1983. Peter spent his working career in various sales and management position with Sears and Hess Corporation.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Pattie (nee Dougherty), three children; Peter Schubert, Lorri Schubert-Zook (Kris), Shannon Nguyen (OJ); grandchildren Joiya and Aiden Nguyen; Brother Richard Schubert (Mary Ann) and niece Deborah Kacer (Mark); nephew, Jeffrey Berry and daughter Kaley, and cousins Bill, Jennifer and Paul He was preceded in death by his son Michael Schubert and sisters Judy Kimpel and Sue Cirrintano.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1630 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991 beginning 12 Noon, Pastor Lee Carnahan officiating. The family request that in lieu of flowers donation in Peter’s name be made to Guardian Angels for special populations, P.O. Box 151321, Cape Coral FL, 33915 or a charity of your choice.
