

Phil was born to the late Robert and Hariett (Blueher) Boller on March 11, 1934 in Harrisburg IL. He spent most of his formative years in Madison County IN after the family returned to Pendleton IN. He graduated from Pendleton High in 1952 and earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute IN in 1957. He then spent the majority of his career serving as an engineer for municipalities in Indiana (Muncie and Fort Wayne) and Florida (Cape Coral and Charlotte County). Phil always exhibited a fondness for his community and its betterment and was actively involved. From serving on the Town Board of Pendleton in the 1970’s to the Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization's Citizen Advisory Committee. He took great pleasure in participating with other engineers to serve as judges for the Edison Regional Science and Inventors Fair.
Phil will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Patsy (Thompson), Kelly Olson, Fort Myers FL(Jeff), Julie Boller-Nipper, Cape Coral FL, Dan Marshall, New Palestine IN (Marianne), Lori Boller-Paul, Fort Wayne, IN, 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Melissa, Danielle, Kinsey, Matt, Abby and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Philip will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas A. Heck at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2025 in the Garden of the Sacred Heart at Coral Ridge Funeral Home Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, Florida 33991, (239) 283-0540. All are welcome to attend to pay their respects to Philip and to offer comfort to his family at this difficult time.
