

Phyllis was born on September 9, 1932 to Charles and Phyllis Fernicola in Newark, New Jersey. Phyllis moved to Indian Rocks Beach with her family in 1976 and was the owner of the infamous Sea Isle Motel. There were many good times spent there over the years with friends and family. Phyllis loved the beach, reading, crossword puzzles, cabernet and watching “The Five.”
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Theodore “Ted” Tecza; her son T.J. and her brother, Charles Fernicola.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Charles Tecza (Cory); daughter, Michele Tecza (Leslie); grandson, Charles M. Tecza, and her nieces, Lori Papasavas (Tom) and Lisa Fernicola-Hall (Chuck).
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Avenue, Cape Coral, FL. Graveside services to be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Avenue North, Clearwater, Florida.
