Born on March 29, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Aaron Loweke and Millicent Kyle.
Ralph moved to Florida after he retired in 1992 from the US Army Corps of Engineers in Detroit, Michigan, where he was a budget analyst. Since that time, he loved spending his time golfing, boating, fishing, cruising the Caribbean, and bowling. He was actively bowling in 2 leagues until he passed. In one of those leagues, he bowled with his son Michael, grandson Aiden, and his loving partner Helen. He spent many years engaged in Michael’s Special Olympics activities, including golfing, bowling, and swimming, where Ralph took Mike all over the state of Florida to compete. He was also very much actively involved in caring for his son Michael.
On April 4, 1975, he married Barbara Jean Loweke. Together they raised their two children and three children from Ralph’s previous marriage.
Ralph is survived by his children, Bonnetta (Robert) Auerbach, Ronald Loweke, Richard (Sherri) Loweke, Jennifer Craft, and Michael Loweke; his grandchildren, Corey, Devon, Ronald Jr., Rachel, Sarah, Aiden, and Avery; his great-grandson, Kaedon; nieces and nephews; and his loving partner, Helen Smith.
