Ranie was preceded in death by his wife, Pearline Marjorie Hitchman and his daughter Michelle Magona, and is survived by his son Christopher Hitchman and wife Cecilia Hitchman, and daughter Jacqueline Lynch and husband Jonathan Lynch, as well as his grandchildren, Daniela, Christopher, India, Jorie, and Noah, followed by his four great children, Nyra, Ari, Jace, and Gabriela.
Ranie had two loving sisters, Lila Maud George and Verdie Annitta Acka'a. He was a loving brother to them, and played a key role in raising and supporting some of the Acka'a siblings after Verdie passed away unexpectedly. His adventures included visiting the Acka'a's all the way in Nigeria, West Africa.
Ranie enjoyed playing his guitar, playing an aggressive game of Dominos with friends and family, lounging at the beach, and found joy going to the racetrack.
We couldn’t have asked for a better parent and grandparent and will miss Ranie every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
