Rebecca Ann Wentz Maglott

Becky Wentz Maglott, 61, of Cape Coral, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 1, 2010. She was born on October 10, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio to Richard and Marjorie Wentz. She has been a resident of Cape Coral since 1976. Becky was a graduate of Edison College and F.G.C.U. She worked as a C.P.A. with Michael Rubenstein & Associates in Ft. Myers and was the former Business Manager at Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Cape Coral. Becky was Past President and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, Gold Coast Chapter, Cape Coral and was involved in every aspect of service with Rotary. She lived the “Service Before Self” motto. Becky was very involved in A.B.W.A. American Business Women’s Association. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their baseball, basketball and soccer games.

She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 42 years, Daniel; son, Eric (Lisa) Maglott of Cape Coral; four grandsons, Justin, Jacob, Jaron and Jordan; mother, Marjorie Wentz; sister, Janet(Jeffrey) Hawks; sister in law, Kay Stack; nieces, Heidi Baird and Deidra Nelson; and nephews, Michael Todd, David Baughman and Drew Baughman.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 6th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral with Pastor Gary LaCroix, officiating.

The family suggests memorial donations in her memory be made to Rotary International or A.B.W.A.
