Regina Lou Green, 62 of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. She was born on December 31, 1952 in El Dorado, Kansas to Johnny Acklin and Imogene Willis Acklin, of Yale, Oklahoma. Regina moved to the area in 1978 coming from Orange County, California. She began a 30 year career with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in 1981, retiring as a Sergeant in 2011.
Regina is survived by her loving family including her husband of 37 years, Ellis “Butch” Green; two sons, Trey and Scott; sister, Barbara; brother, Jimmmy and his wife Mary; sister in laws, Linda and Dianne; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine island Road, Cape Coral, 33991. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 19th at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Ceremonial Honors will be provided by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard.
