Dad, my first love. I still can’t believe you have left us to be with the Lord. Words can’t express how I feel since you’ve been gone. It’s such a empty void that it’s left in me. I’ll forever miss your smile, advice, talks and most importantly your sense of humor. I’ll miss our insiders and jokes we had. You loved your family so much and we knew it, you always wanted us together no matter what the occasion was. You would do anything for us.. I remember calling you when I had moved into my new place asking you what stores you thought had the best box springs for our new bed, an hour later you showed up at my apartment with your truck and the new box spring you had bought us. That’s just the type of person you were so caring and thoughtful, always there. I’m so blessed God gave me such a role model like you, you were exceptional and not just because you were my dad but you were the best father anyone could’ve wished for. To the one who taught me how to ride a bike, drive a car, change a tire and so much more about  life. It will never be the same without you. I promise you I will make you proud dad, in all that I do I will give it my ALL because I promise to hold the same work ethic you had. My future kids and nieces/nephews will always know about their grandfather and what a great man he was. It’s hard to not be able to call you or visit and hear you say “y que mi negra como esta”. You’ll forever be in my heart papi. I could go on for a lifetime about all the great memories you left us with but they will forever be cherished in our hearts. I know with no doubt in my mind that you are rejoicing in heaven with papa. Te amo mi papito bello. Until we meet again.❤️

Part 1:
When I was a kid I was never scared of the future. I knew that as long as I followed my dad's advice I would be okay. I swear, this man had a solution for everything. It was almost as if Jesus gave him the blueprint on how to be a righteous man and he was feeding me the answers. I mean... He must of misread some of the passages because Jesus said to turn the other cheek but my dad said, if they mess with you turn their cheek. I'm guessing Maybe some confusion there. 

My Dad had to also deal with all three of us and we were all crazy growing up. I was Dennis the Menace, my brother was always hustling my sister and I from all our valuables and my little sister was meanist little girl but my dad thought she was an angel. With all that My father was able to raise 3 well-off children and show us how to be humble, respectful, giving, among other various things. 

My father was a loving husband. He truly loved my Mother to his core. Even during his sickness they had a report that said he was getting better, and the cause had; my Moms name on the actual report, No lie. My mom was his medicine. He could not live without that women. She was his everything and he knew it. I can go on and on about how great of a brother he was to my aunt's and uncles and a son to my Grandparents. He was a truly an amazing person.

I am going to miss the convos we had under the mango tree. They were special. I am going to miss the amazing bond we had. 

My dad was my biggest cheerleader and I never felt so happy then when I saw that smile on his face. It made me want to work harder to achieve my goals.

Un  extraordinario ser humano, con un buen sentido del humor, siempre alegre proveíste todo para mi y  nuestros hijos, nos amaste demasiado y nosotros a ti fuiste buen hijo , buen hermano, buen amigo muy fiel a Dios. Tocaste el corazón de todos los que te conocieron,has dejado un vacío tan grande en mi corazón que le pido a Dios que me de la fuerza para seguír adelante, te extraño demasiado.le doy graciasa Dios por haberme dado la oportunidad de amarte respectar y cuidarte  haci como me amaste  y respectarte y me cuidaste te amare por siempre Ricardo  Emilio Guerrero mi amor, mi viejito bello tu esposa que te amarás por siempre ❤️ 

Part 2:
Although, I am torn apart; in the midst of darkness I found peace in my heart knowing that my father died with Jesus in his heart. At the end of the day, that should be our ultimate goal. This life is temporary and we are never promised tomorrow, so we have to have that relationship with Jesus to know where we are going after this life. 

Time doesn't fully heal the pain but over time it helps you cope with the loss and it creates an understanding.

 I will never forget my father and I will instill his wisdom into my future children one day. He will always be in all of our hearts. By far the strongest person I ever met.

I Love You Papi!

I will never forget papi,  I don't even know where to begin.  Papi was the strongest figure in my life.  He was my best friend,  I am the man I am today because of him.  He was always there for me from my first steps, to my first word,  first love,  first heart break,  my happy days and sad ones.  He always believed in me,  I have a spirit of perseverance because of him.  Papi always taught me to stick to things even when it gets rough,  Giving up was never an option.   I miss the days we just rode in the car together or sat and watched a new movie together.  His laugh made me laugh and his smile was contagious,  so much that when I think of him the first thing that comes to memory is his smile and laugh.   I miss my father and always will.  Its a cut that may never be healed,  not one day has passed that I don't think about him.  I wish he was still here,  I had so many plans with him.  We spoke on getting Harley Davidsons and ridding on Sundays,  we also spoke on getting a boat for the whole family to ride.  I can truly say that Papi was my hero along with grandpa,  The two Greatest Men in my life are gone but never forgotten.  I miss you guys every day.  I will do my best to be like you Papi and hopefully you are watching from somewhere.  I want to make you proud.  Love you for Ever and Ever your eldest son.  - Geury Guerrero -
