Robert "Bob" William Byrne Sr.

The beloved husband of Joanne C. Byrne. Father to sons Robert Byrne Jr., Harold Byrne, and Gordon Byrne. Brother of Lawrence Byrne, Beverly Walker, and Peggy Dorriety. Son of the late Lawrence E Byrne and Blanche Bickford Johnson. Robert is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and predeceased by 1 grandchild.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in East Africa during the Korean War period.

To best describe him would be to say he was a hardworking honest man and a true gentleman. He absolutely adored his wife Joanne and anyone fortunate enough to spend time with them, would attest to the glimmer in his eyes when he looked at her. He loved all his family as well as his many canine companions over the years. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, both at work and at play. Bob was also an extraordinary craftsman and artist in all mediums. He loved to create, and he found peace doing it.

If Bob touched your life in some way, you were the lucky one. He was a genuinely good man who lived a life full of love and kindness and he will be greatly missed.
