Ronald Harold Van Deventer

Ronald Harold VanDeventer 80 of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on September 23, 2021. He was born on March 6, 1941 in Newark, NJ He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth VanDeventer of 59 years, His Four Children Laurie Deluca, Christine James, Ron VanDeventer, Bob VanDeventer; Cherished Grandfather to Alex Chandler, Brandon Chandler, Josh Vandeventer, Taylor Vandeventer, Brynn VanDeventer, Jared Deluca, Caleb Deluca, Jalen VanDeventer, Giselle VanDeventer, Logan James, Kara James; One Sister Donna Mackey.

Ronald had a Criminology Degree from Edison College. Over the years Ron worked in Law Enforcement for Piscataway Police Department, Port Authority Police Department, Cape Coral Police Department, Ron also worked many years for the Lee County School District. Ron was a Veteran of the United States Army & The Police Benevolent Association.

Ron Has a passion for coaching Baseball, Softball, Pop Warner Football, and loved spending time with his family.

A memorial service for Ronald will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Cape Christian, 2110 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Then a gathering of Family & Friends at Personal Touch Catering & Banquets Located on Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral
