Ruth Mae Depetris

Ruth Mae Depetris, 97, of Cape Coral, FL (formerly of Latrobe, PA) passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Born in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of George and Jeanie (Quinn) Wheeler. Ruth was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church.

Ruth was married to the love of her life, Donald R. Depetris, for 69 years before his passing on May 18, 2017. Together, they built a loving family and shared a lifetime of memories. She is survived by her children, Donna and husband Joseph Bradish of Cape Coral, FL; Donald “Ray” and wife Beverly (Papuga) Depetris of Latrobe, PA and Jeffrey Depetris and Beverly of Sebastian, FL. Ruth is also survived by her four grandchildren, Traci Shaffer and husband Russ; David Depetris and wife, Lori, of Latrobe, PA and Jodi Davis and husband Ken Davis and Joseph S. Bradish and his wife Elissa (Penna) of Cape Coral, FL.; Ten great-grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Lauren, Isabella Cameron, Tyler, Jaden, Jena, Janelle and Tommie-Sue.

Besides her parents, Ruth is predeceased in death by three sisters, Elnora, Jean, and Evelyn.
