Our family lost our beautiful matriarch, Sara Pilar Cedeno, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born on July 1,1942 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Sara was a retired Spanish Teacher and she taught for 30 years in Newark, New Jersey. She moved to Cape Coral, FL in 2002 with her loving husband, Raul S Cedeno, Sr after living in Union City, NJ for 34 years. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, singing and spending time with her family and friends.

Sara is survived by her 3 sons, Raul S Cedeno, Jr (Cindy), Oscar R Cedeno (Erika) and Arthur Alan Cedeno (Kenya); she also leaves behind her grandchildren, Alan, Oscar, Anthony, Isabella, Sophia and Kylee; also her brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Sara lives on through the wonderful gifts she gave her family and friends, her generosity, love, hope, caring, empathy, kindness and many more. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Raul S Cedeno, Sr at Coral Ridge Cemetery.

A visitation for Sara will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at Coral Ridge Cemetery immediately following Mass.

Recuerdo cuando llegué a US y estuve compartiendo un tiempo en compañía de mi tía, haciendo sus vueltas aprendí a conocerla un poco, me ayudó con la ansiedad de cambiar de país y dejarlo todo. Me ayudó a empezar a conocer y saber de mi otro lado de la familia y algunas de sus anécdotas. Me dió mucho gusto al ver el amor que le profesaba a su esposo, a sus hijos, a sus hermanas. Gracias por esos bonitos recuerdos que me dejó. Un beso y abrazo fuerte. Que Dios esté con usted siempre.
