Originally from Munster, Indiana, she passed away peacefully at her home in Cape Coral, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hobbic, and her son, Christopher Hobbic, as well as three grandchildren: Rylee, Christian and Lea and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She adored her cats: Asia, Bunny and Mystic. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles Hobbic Jr.
Sharon graduated Valedictorian of Tolleston High School in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with a Master's degree in Education. She was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. She loved teaching and was a long time elementary school teacher in Hammond, Indiana. A private service will be held at a future date.
Donations can be made in her name to Hope Hospice, Humane Society or SPCA
