Shirley Ann Nunn

Shirley was born in East Detroit, Michigan on April 8, 1935, the beautiful daughter to Pearl (Langood) and Edmund Frank. She was a student at East Detroit High School and graduated in 1953. Shirley had a successful career as executive secretary and office manager. Was an Avon Lady too! She loved knitting, sewing, gardening, and home decorating. Shirley was also a very active member of the “Blanket Bunch” (a group from her church that made blankets for the homeless and cancer patients.)

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 71 years Thomas Nunn and her loving children Jeffrey & Cheryl. She was also Grandmother to 4 and a Great-Grandmother of 8. Shirley also leaves behind her siblings Sandra, Daniel & Michael, all of Michigan, a number of extended family members and many others who were proud to call her a friend.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother David Frank.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL 33919, (239) 481-4040. All are welcome to attend.
