Suzanne Dorothy Anderson, 77 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. She was born on October 6, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Axel Carl and Dorothy Carciotto Stolberg. Suzanne worked as a Teacher for the Edina Public School District, retiring in 1994. She then moved to Florida and in 2000 became a resident. She was an avid reader, enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, spending time with her friends and was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Suzanne was a member of the B.P.O Elks Lodge No. 2596 and the Minneapolis Club, both of Cape Coral.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband of almost 52 years, Edward Anderson; children, Carl Anderson of Minneapolis, MN, Scott (Victoria) Anderson of Roscoe, IL, David (Rachelle) Anderson of Champlin, MN, Karen Esch of Andover, MN; eight grandchildren, Phillip, Erica, Logan, Nathan, Matthew, Nicholas, Cameron, Kylie; and sister-n-law, Ollie Stolberg of Woodstock, IL. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Stolberg.
There will be a visitation on Friday, March 2nd starting at 1 p.m. with the Memorial Service celebrated at 2 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Interment at a later date will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
