Thelma Ruth Mitchell, 93 of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Cape Coral, FL passed away on August 18, 2016. She was born in Huntington, WV on January 6, 1923. She married George “Mitch” Mitchell on July 27, 1950. In 1961 she moved to West Palm Beach, FL and then to Cape Coral in 1977. Thelma worked as a seamstress for the Maidenform Company. She had a passion for animals, music and dancing.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her children, Ron (Mitzi) Pace, Sue (Neale) Coates, Deborah Curl; grandchildren, Mason and Ronda Pace, Michelle and Brad Lewis, Andrew and Russell Curl; great grandsons, Justen Pace and Tyler Curl; great great granddaughter, Paisley Pace.
