I am so blessed to have known Mr. Kidd.  He shared so much invaluable information with me about his time aboard USS KENNETH M. WILLETT DE-364, my father's sister ship.  I will forever be grateful to him.
He will long be remembered for his fine leadership of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Association and will remain very much alive in the memories of those who loved, respected and treasured him.  To his family, your grief is shared by many.  I offer my sincere condolences.
