After 6 years of dedicated service in the US Army and later in the US Air Force, he embarked in his career as a computer analyst with The Housing and Urban Development department of the Federal Government in Washington, DC. Upon retirement, he resided in North Ft. Myers, FL. He was a life member of the North Ft. Myers Elks and a member of the Moose Cape Coral Lodge. He enjoyed car racing, traveling and playing cards "with the guys".
He is survived by his loving, devoted partner, Jaye Kulima. They shared 20 loving, dedicated, joyful and fun filled years together.
He was a loving father of 2 daughters April (Dave) Odendahl and Angela Palangi. He had 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Donna Shields, of NC.
A celebration of his life will be held at Sabal Springs Sunset Grill on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, FL.
