Tim graduated from Bloomington High School and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago. He proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. As a member of the 27th Engineering Battalion he embodied the courage, discipline, and dedication that characterized his military service and remained a source of pride throughout his life.
Tim spent much of his career in the restaurant industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He took great pride in creating welcoming environments for customers and building lasting friendships with coworkers and patrons alike. Whether managing operations, mentoring employees, or sharing stories with guests, Tim’s larger-than-life personality and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A proud Midwesterner at heart, Tim never lost his passion for his Chicago sports teams: the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls and White Sox. A die-hard fan through every season, he faithfully cheered on his beloved teams and enjoyed sharing that enthusiasm with family and friends. Whether celebrating victories or enduring tough seasons, his loyalty to his Chicago teams never wavered.
Above all else, Tim cherished his family. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lee Paden; his brother Steven Ashley Paden; his son, Bradley Sean Paden and Amy Bishop; his daughter, Candice Lee Taveras (Paden), and son-in-law, Davidson Taveras; his son Robert Gene Danielson Paden and daughter- in-law Caitlynne Sue Danielson Paden; and his nephew Bolton Sean Paden and Gisele Barbara Guzman.
Tim was a proud and devoted grandfather to Gabriel David Taveras, Grayson Lee Taveras, Amelia Isabel Taveras, Bentley Sean Paden, Asher Pierce Danielson Paden, Rylee Lynne Danielson Paden, and Aria Jade Paden. His grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy, and he treasured the time spent with each of them.
