Tracey Ann Scimeca

Tracey is survived by her husband, Frank, her four children Hunter, Chase, Olivia and Emma, her mother, Theresa Hroncich, her brother, Anthony Hroncich (Kate) and several nieces, nephews and grand nephews. Sadly, Tracey was preceded in death by her beloved father, Louis F. Hroncich, who just recently passed away on March 18th of this year.

She was a graduate of Florida Southwestern State College with a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education, Grand Canyon University with a master’s of arts degree in Reading with an emphasis in elementary education and a Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis in cognition and instruction. She was passionate about her career as a teacher. She advocated for parents and children and helped them to navigate the public school system.

Tracey lived to be a mom. She put all her spare time and energy into raising her children and always being there for her family. Tracey enjoyed traveling with her family and doing all kinds of charity for thousands of moms from the Supportive Moms of SWFL Facebook page. She touched the lives of so many people and had endless enthusiasm for the things that brought her happiness. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished moments with those who loved her the most. May she rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life for Tracey will be conducted on Sunday, June 29, 2025 inside the Remembrance Event Center at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, FL 33990, (239) 283-0540. Guests will be received beginning at 12:00 pm for Visitation followed by a Time for Eulogies offered by her friends and family beginning at 1:00 PM. At the conclusion of these Personal Reflections, a Memorial Funeral Service for Tracey is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM and will be celebrated by Pastor Wes Olds from Grace Church with this funeral ceremony also taking place inside the funeral home chapel.
