Vincenzo “Enzo” Miceli Sr., 70 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on November 3, 2018. He was born on January 31, 1948 in Menfi Sicily to Giuseppi Miceli and Francesca Lucia Gandolfo Miceli. When he was 5 years old, his family moved to Venezuela South America. Enzo had a career in Bakery and Restaurants’ including Estrella Bakery in Venezuela, Roly Poly Bakery in New Britain and was the founder of Miceli’s Restaurant, Matlacha and Founder of El Pollo Rico, Bokeelia. On November 5, 1977, he married Valerie Foligno at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in New Britain, CT. He attended church at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Bokeelia and St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all loved spending time with his family. According to his family Enzo was a “jack of all trades and a master of them all”.
Enzo is survived by his loving family including his loving wife of 41 years Valerie Miceli; three sons, Joseph (Maralee) Miceli, Vincenzo (Ellen) Miceli, Michael (Morgan) Miceli, all of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Joseph, Evy, Bella, Mia, Dominic; loving brothers, Diego (Teresa) Miceli of Hot Springs Arkansas, Claudio Miceli of CT; sister-in-law Sylvia Miceli of CT; and several wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his brother Francesco “Franco” Miceli precedes him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday January 26, 2019 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, Bokeelia with the Rite of Committal to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
